1830 Revenue Vessel - England

6 May 1840 captured off the Isle of Wight a smack belonging to this port, with 20 casks of contraband spirits, and two men ; the vessel and casks were taken to Cowes Custom-house, and the two smugglers lodged in Newport gaol.

8 Oct 1841, Ryde, sailed to the Needles and raced other cruisers to Weymouth.

10 Oct 1841, returned to Ryde in a SW gale.

13 Nov 1841, towed the smack Emerald, of Plymouth, into harbour, from off the Isle of Wight, having split her sails during the last night's gale.

1 Aug 1842 Revenue vessel based at Ryde, Thos. Morgan apptd. 11 May 1838.

11 May 1838 Civilian Second Mate Thomas Morgan apptd. to the Adder.

Jan 1847 based at South Yarmouth, (53 tons, crew 14).

20 Dec 1848 Revenue Vessel.
