Plymouth Oct 5 1812 Arrived a French schooner privateer of 14 guns, captured yesterday off Scilly, by the Dotterel, 18, in sight of the Albicore.
18-19 Dec 1812 Albacore, Pickle, Borer and the cutter Landrail chase the French frigate Gloire.
Plymouth Dec 24 1812 It is reported that Albacore, along with a number of brigs have been in pursuit of a French frigate.
14 Jan 1813 Mr Harman, First Lieutenant of the Albacore, was killed and several of the crew wounded, whilst in pursuit of the French frigate mentioned previously, and that escaped.
