Circa May 1800, Captain Bover, from the Hecla bomb, is appointed to the Alecto fire ship.

Circa 1 Sep 1800, Capt Lenox Thompson, late of the Alecto (FS) is apptd to the Voltigeur, 14, vice Shortland.

Circa 1 Sep 1800, Lt Edward O'Brien, late 1st of the Melpomene, is promoted Master and Commander and appointed to the Alecto.

20 Oct 1800 re-captured the Brig Padstow, of Padstow.

11 Mar 1801 salvage money resulting from the re-capture of the Brig Padstow now due for payment.
