Admiralty-Office, September 13. Copy of a Letter frem E.B. Arnand, Esq., Collector of the Customs at Portsmouth, to Evan Nepean, Esq., dated September 12, l796. I have the Honor to acquaint you, that the Antelope Cutter, Captain Case, in the Service of the Customs at this Port, has brought in a French Lugger Privateer, carrying 20 Men and well armed, which she captured Yesterday between Portland and St. Alban's. 13 Aug-Oct 1799 employed on expedition to Holland.

28 Aug 1799 capture of the Dutch hulks Drotchterland and Brooderschap, and the ships Helder, Venus, Minerva, and Hector, in the New Diep, in Holland.

4 Dec 1799 Portsmouth has seized a vessel laden with near 400 casks of spirits.

19 Jun 1800, Portsmouth, arrived the Antelope revenue cutter. Captain Case, with a boat laden with 150 casks of spirits; and on Tuesday she sent into Arundel 155 casks of spirits, and 11 bales of tobacco, all of which she had seized.

Portsmouth 18 Jan 1801 sailed on a cruise, with a view to detaining Danish, Swedish and Russian merchant shipping.

24 Feb 1802 prize money resulting from the capture of the Dutch hulks Drotchterland and Brooderschap, and the ships Helder, Venus, Minerva, and Hector due to be paid.

17 Nov-30 Dec 1802 prize money resulting from the expedition to Holland due for payment.
