14-20 May 1798 Involved in expedition to Ostende, supporting the army.
13 Aug-Oct 1799 employed on expedition to Holland.
27 Jun-8 Jul 1800 involved in the operation to capture the French frigate Désirée from Dunkerque harbour and burn other vessels. The Désirée was subsequently purchased into the Service.
Circa 30 Jun 1800, Captain Campbell, of the Dart sloop, has got the rank of post, and is appointed to the frigate Désirée, that he cut out of Dunkirk.
Circa 30 Jun 1800, Captain Devonshire is appointed to the Dart.
Dart 01 Aug 1800 Circa 1 Aug 1800, Captain Patrick Campbell, late of his Majesty's sloop Dart, who so gallantly captured the fine French frigate Désirée, under the very guns of Dunkirk, and in view of a number of the enemy's ships, is appointed by the Lords of the Admiralty to the command of the Ariadne.
18 Aug 1800, Portsmouth, arrived the Dart sloop, 18, from the Downs.
20 Aug 1800, Portsmouth, sailed for the Downs.
Circa 12 Mar 1801 fleet under Admiral Sir Hyde Parker sailed from Yarmouth roads for Copenhagen. 30 Mar the vessels initially detailed to take part in the forthcoming Battle of Copenhagen. 1 Apr the vessels detailed sail for Copenhagen ; the British ships held in reserve ; the Danish positions : 2 Apr the battle commences : the truce : the casualties : the wash-up :
12 Apr 1801 the fleet sailed from Copenhagen into the Baltic.
20 Jul 1802 head money for those present at the Engagement at Copenhagen, on the 2d April 1801, due for payment.
