Jul 1830 Revenue Vessel - England

4 Nov 1835 stopped and searched HM steam packet Lightning, en route from Holland to Woolwich, and discovered tobacco, tea and spirits in the crews' baggage and hidden in various compartments.

14 Dec 1839 Mate J. B. Madden, appointed Chief Officer of Coast Guard and to the Dolphin, R.C.

18 Nov 1840 had arrived at Cork, having lost two men and two boats, washed overboard in the late gales.

1 Aug 1842 based at Galwey, Lt. W. H. Goslin, apptd. 12 Sep 1840.

20 Dec 1848 Revenue Vessel.

NB I have no knowledge regarding when vessels were built or broken up for the Revenue Service, so these notes may well cover one or more vessels.
