1845 Tremendous (1784) renamed Grampus.
14 Aug 1846 Arrived at the Sandwich Islands from the West Coast of South America.
20 Dec 1846 Tahiti ? Arrived from a visit to Raiatea and the other islands of the Society group. The settlement at the Island of Huahine is unoccupied, and the principal body of the natives, warned by experience of their danger in living at a place exposed to the fire of vessels of war, continue at their encampment on the N.E. end or the island.
21 Apr 1847 Tahiti Sailed to the Leeward Isles for a cruise for about a month.
Jun 1847 Tahiti. Expected to leave for England in the near future.
27 June 1847 Tahiti. Crew assists "Harpley," Captain Buckland, with repairs, following a damaging passage from Hobart Town.
4 March 1856, Grampus and Neptune turned over to the Ordnance people for use as supplementary Powder Depots at Portsmouth.
