Notes:

14 Aug 1798 the Orion, Bellerophon, Minotaur, Defence, Audacious, Theseus, and Majestic, accompanied by the prizes Franklin, Tonnant, Aquilon, Conquérant, Souverain and Spartiate leave Aboukir Bay.

Mid September 1798 The crippled Nile prizes arrived at Gibraltar. The Souverain was in too bad a state to proceed further, and was, under the name of Guerrier, converted into a guard-ship.

Jan 1799 commissioned at Gibraltar by Capt Thomas Stevens as receiving ship at Gibraltar.

Jan 1800 put into Ordinary.

Oct 1803 commissioned as harbour ship at Gibraltar Capt R Lloyd.

Nov 1814 Flag ship R.-Adm John Wright.

1806 Lieut Charles Tilly, followed by Lt T Spence.

1807 Master Stephen Trounce.
