San Blas, 16 Jan 1839 having been to the most northerly of the Mexican ports to collect treasures, she has on board 700,000 dollars : she may be expected at Spithead at the end of July or the beginning of August.
18 Jul 1839 Portsmouth, was paid off ; she brought home several Portuguese prisoners, taken out of slavers captured on the coast of Brazil.
