28 Dec 1812 the Hermes and Elephant captured a U.S. privateer, the 12 gun schooner Sword Fish, with 82 men.

Portsmouth 13 Jan 1813 Whilst on a cruise off the Western Isles with the Elephant, during which they captured a privateer or two and chased others, was left in charge of one on the other's return to Portsmouth.

Pernambuco 29 May 1813 Arrived with a convoy from Cork.

12-15 Sep 1814 Hermes, Carron, Sophie and Childers attacked Fort Bowyer, about six miles to the eastward of Mobile point, during which the Hermes went aground and had to be burnt.
