Apr / May 1793 Sailed under the command of Captain Hon. Charles Carpenter, as a part of a squadron for the Mediterranean Fleet, then to be based off Toulon. However, in view of her apparent involvement in the next item William James suggests it is unlikely that she arrived on station until the end of August or later ? The proof of the pudding will probably be found in her logs at the National Archives :

14 Jul 1793 sailed with the Channel fleet from St. Helen's. On the 18th to the west of the Scilly Isles and subsequent manoeuvres.

31 Jul 1793 briefly sighted, but was unable to close the French fleet ; returned to Torbay on 10 Aug.

23 Aug 1793 the Channel Fleet sailed to escort the Newfoundland trade, West Indian convoys in home waters.

27 Oct 1793 sailed in search of the French fleet and squadrons. 18 Nov brief skirmish with a French squadron : by mid-December the fleet had returned to Spithead.

January-February 1795 captured the French privateer Republicain Pagest on the West Indies station.

January-February 1795 captured the French privateer Perroux on the West Indies station.

January-February 1795 captured the French privateer Sans Pareil on the West Indies station.

May 1805 Rotherhithe, repairing ; in Ordinary.

21 Apr - 12 Jul 1806 operations, with the Army, along the coast of Naples, in support of the Prince of Hesse.

24 Dec 1807 occupation of the island of Madeira.

30 Jan-24 Feb 1809 a part of a expedition under R.-adm Sir A Cochrane which arrived off Martinique with a view to taking the Island.

15 Apr 1809 chased two French armées en flute, Furieuse and Félicité which found shelter under Fort-Matilda. Félicité was not long afterwards captured by the Latona.
