17 Mar 1800, Portsmouth, sailed the Anson, 44, Captain Durham with the East Indiamen under convoy ; accompanied with the Porpoise, 12, Captain Scott, for Botany Bay, and the Lady Nelson, Captain Barrow, an ordnance store ship, for Gibraltar. She is bound to New South Wales, for the purpose of surveying the coast, and making discoveries.
