Notes:
14 Jul 1793 sailed with the Channel fleet from St. Helen's. On the 18th to the west of the Scilly Isles and subsequent manoeuvres.
31 Jul 1793 briefly sighted, but was unable to close the French fleet ; returned to Torbay on 10 Aug.
23 Aug 1793 the Channel Fleet sailed to escort the Newfoundland trade, West Indian convoys in home waters.
27 Oct 1793 sailed in search of the French fleet and squadrons. 18 Nov brief skirmish with a French squadron : by mid-December the fleet had returned to Spithead.
25 Nov 1796 the frigate Lapwing, Captain Robert Barton, sailed from St.-Kitt's for Anguilla. On her arrival the next day she captured the French 20-gun ship Décius and drove brig Vaillante ashore, where she was destroyed.
27 Nov 1796 was chased by the French frigates Thétis and Pensée, and as a result had to burn her prize, but escaped into St. Kitt's.
28 Dec 1796 captured the French privateer Maria Topaze.
31 Jan 1797 captured the French privateer L'Espoir.
15 Feb 1797 captured the Spanish privateer brig St. Christopher, with 18 guns, 120 men, northward of Bermuda.
7 Mar 1797 captured the French privateer Heureuse Catharine.
9 Jun 1797 captured the French privateer Louis Bonfoi.
6 Jul 1797 captured the French privateer Veteran to leeward of Montserrat.
7 Jul 1797 captured the French privateer Dorad to leeward of Montserrat.
1 Aug 1797 captured the French privateer Regulus.
9 Jan 1798 captured the French privateer Intrigue.
18 Feb 1798 captured the French privateer Mutine.
31 Mar 1798 captured the French privateer Hardi.
29 May 1798 captured the French privateer Intrépide off St. Bartholomew's.
12 Aug 1798 captured the French privateer Invariable on the Leeward Island station.
