Notes:

5-8 Sep 1808 Laurel arrived off the Isle of France from the Cape with stores. Whilst remaining on station she recaptured a Portuguese ship.

15 Sep 1808 Captured off Isle-de-France, by the French 40-gun frigate Canonnière.

Renamed by French as Esperance.

12 Apr 1810 off the isle of Ré, Unicorn captured the late British 22-gun ship Laurel, at this time named Espérance, armed en flute.

1810 Renamed Laurestinus.
