There is a possibility that the references to this vessel may refer to the Revenue cruiser of the same name - but the fact that she was a Revenue cutter wasn't mentioned.

Margate 31 Dec 1835 HM cutter Lively picked up a number of soldiers pouches off the Long Sand, possibly from the ship Jane Ingram, lately lost on the sands.

Portsmouth 18 Apr 1835 the revenue cutter Swallow has been raised and taken for repairs into Weymouth harbour, but attempts to raise the revenue cutter Hound, using a buoy boat, the Lively cutter, and 2 dockyard lumps, have not been successful.

19 Feb 1841, Woolwich, sails for Portsmouth on Saturday.

7 Aug 1841, Portsmouth, returned from the river on Saturday, and is now prepared to sail as soon as the weather moderates, for Milford, with men from the Victory, and dockyard to attend the launching, rigging, and bringing here of the Collingwood, 80.
