6 Sep 1800 was reported to have saved a great many of the crew frigate Stag wrecked in a gale in Vigo Bay.

26 Sep 1800 captured on the Mediterranean station the American Brig Atlas, laden with Tobacco, from Vigo bound to Seville.

13 Nov 1800 engagement with the French privateer Bellone, of Bordeaux.

15 Sep 1801 captured the Spanish privateer Baptista, 8 guns, on the coast of Spain.

27 Oct 1803 ship's boats of the Merlin chase and run on shore the French lugger-privateer Sept-Frères, which was subsequently destroyed by the schooner Milbrook.

9 May 1805 captured the Spanish privateer La Travela, lugger, 3 guns, 40 men, off the Bayonna Islands.
