3 May 1916 It's a treat to be in a ship with a naval routine. 348 has just had 12-pounders and wireless fitted - see p 43-> www.naval-review.org/issues/1918.pdf.
6 May 1916 tested gun mounting fitted by Reliance at Mudros. First shot gave me a black eye. Turtle back absolutely lifted, returned to Mudros alongside Reliance, floating workshop.
30 May 1916 at anchor Kavala.

10 Aug 1916 towed Turkish waterplane to Admiral at Lemnos - see p 50.

9 Oct 1916 sweep the war channels from daylight until dusk. Anchored at outer

11 Oct 1916 proceeded towards Greek Navy single line ahead ; inside the
boom ; steamed around the Greek flotilla ; returned to Duncan flagship for further orders. Then escorted armed French bluejackets, who boarded all destroyers and submarines etc. Cleared away the moorings and towed vessels to the allied lines - see p 54 www.naval-review.org/issues/1918.pdf.
28 Nov 1916 took relief Marines to observation posts, Rabbit Islands, Malva, where small wireless, also cable to Tenedos, fitted.
1 Dec 1916 sweep channel with 309 outside Kephelo boom - see p 57 - page out of order.
