Notes:

23-25 Apl 1805 was a part of a squadron which captured off Boulogne the Dutch Armed Schuyts Nos 43, 44, 45, 48, 52, 54, 57, and 58, and the unarmed Transport No 3 and is entitled to Head-Money being one of the actual Captors.

May 1805 Downs Station

12 Aug 1809 off Dais head on the Danish coast, discovered and chased a lugger, which anchored with two others : the Monkey was sent in with the ship's boats of the Lynx and the 3 vessels cut out.

Plymouth 12 Jan 1811 Sent in the French brig La Vandesigeur, a prize.

Plymouth 16 Jan 1811 Sent in the French brig Rose.

Plymouth 17 Jan 1811 Is reported to have captured five sail off the coast of France.

[I have to assume that these vessels had been taken prior to the Monkey being wrecked, and I can find no record of another vessel with this name around this period !]
