27 Aug 1841, Captain T. Forrest, C.B., of the Impregnable is appointed to the charge of the Ordinary at Portsmouth.
4 Sep 1841, Portsmouth, Captain F. E. Loch, recently appointed Superintendent of the Quarantine at Standgate-creek, was entertained at a farewell champagne dinner, on Tuesday last, by the officers of the Victory, on board that ship, in testimony of the grateful and lasting remembrance of his manifold and marked attention to their comforts and interests during his command of the Portsmouth Ordinary.
