24 Oct 1803, whilst the fleet sailed to water, remained to watch the French fleet in Toulon.

12 Dec 1803, remained to watch Toulon whilst the Fleet sailed for the bay of Palma and thence to the Magdalena islands for water etc.

26 Nov 1805 - 12 Jan 1806 Expedition, under the orders of Commodore Sir Home Popham, to take the Cape of Good Hope from the Dutch, which involved many of the men working ashore as a part of a marine battalion.

4 Mar 1806 as a part of the squadron lying off the Cape of Good Hope captured the French 40-gun frigate Volontaire, added to the navy by the same name.

20 Apr - 31 Dec 1806 a part of an expedition to Monte-Video and Buenos-Ayres.

22 Mar 1808 action between a British squadron and the two French frigates Italienne and Seine, off the port of Lorient.

Plymouth 31 Jan 1810 Sent in the the privateer Le Duguay Trouin, of Brest, captured off the Penmarks. Amongst the vessels she had captured was the brig Maria from Newfoundland, for Poole, with a cargo of fish, re-taken by the Narcissus.

4 Jul 1814 the Severn arrived in Chesapeake bay. 19 Jul-12 Aug 1814 the arrival of a battalion of marines, and a detachment of marine artillery enabled the squadron to mount further expeditions ashore using the ships' boats of the Albion, Dragon, Loire, Jasseur, Narcissus, Severn and St.-Lawrence,.
