14 Oct 1799 captured the Spanish privateer El Orely, y los Tres Amigos, schooner, 4 guns, 4 swivels, 52 men, in the Bay of Biscay.
The following letter appeared in the London Gazette on 26 November 1799:
Netley, Oporto, Oct. 17, 1799,
I Have the Honor to acquaint your Lordship, that on the 14th, close in with Vigo, the Netley recaptured a Brig from Gibraltar, laden with Brandy. By dropping the Boat, and continuing under a Press of Sail, we were enabled to cut off the Privateer from Bayonne, with the Fort of which we exchanged several Shot; she proved a Spanish Schooner, belonging to Muros, and called El Orely, y los Tres Amigos, mounting Four Carriage Guns and Four Brass Three-Pounders on Swivels, with a Complement of Fifty-two Men. The Prisoners exceeding the Number of Our remaining Crew, I judged it expedient to land them at this Place, where they have been delivered to the Spanish Consul, and the necessary Receipt for them obtained. 24 Dec 1799 captured the Spanish privateer Felicidad, lugger, 5 guns, 36 men, on the Lisbon station.
25 Dec 1799 captured the Spanish privateer St. Antonio y Animas, alias Aurora, schooner, 6 guns, 46 men, on the Lisbon station.
20 Feb 1800 captured on the Mediterranean station the Portuguese Vessel Carmo i Diligente.
17 Mar 1800 captured the Spanish privateer St. Pedro Apostle alias Escariotte, lugger, 5 guns, 37 men, on the Mediterranean station.
15 May 1800 Netley and Minerve captured the French privateer Vengeance in the Mediterranean.
16 May 1800 captured the Spanish privateer La Animas El Sola, alias Descuite, lugger, on the Mediterranean station.
11 Aug 1800 captured on the Mediterranean station the Spanish Ship Reyna Luisa, laden with Cocoa, Wool, and Twelve Thousand Pounds in Bullion, from Montevideo to Corunna.
28 Sep 1800 captured the Spanish privateer N. S. del Carmen la Confianza, 2 guns, 26 men, on the Coast of Portugal, from Vigo on a Cruize.
16 Oct 1800 re-captured on the Mediterranean station, English Brig Mary, laden with One Hundred and Sixty-nine Casks of Butter and some Coals, from Dublin bound to Oporto ; and the Portuguese Lugger Lial Invieta Viana, from Viana on a Cruize. N. B. This Lugger mounted Seven Guns, and belonged to the Portuguese Government : was given up to the Portuguese free of Salvage.
8 Nov 1800 captured on the Mediterranean station, Spanish Schooner Privateer, of Nine Guns and Sixty-five Men, called St. Miguel alias Alertha, from Ponte Vedra on a Cruize and re-captured the English Brig Hunter, laden with Fish, from Newfoundland bound to Lisbon.
7 Nov 1800 captured the Spanish privateer San-Miguel, alias l'Alerta, schooner, 9 guns, 65 men, on the coast of Portugal.
23 Nov 1800 captured the Spanish privateers St Antonio y Animas la Frtuna, lugger, 6 guns, 34 men, and the St. Pedro y Franciso, schooner, 3 guns, 39 men, both on the Lisbon station.
31 January 1801 captured the Spanish privateer Santa Victoria, lugger, 6 guns, 26 men, on the Lisbon station.
5 Feb 1801 captured the Spanish privateer St Francisco la Paula, lugger, 2 guns, 4 swivels, 31 men, on the Lisbon station.
11 Feb 1801 captured the Spanish privateer St Josef, alias El Belos, schooner, pierced for 14 guns, 4 guns, 6 swivels 44 men, on the Lisbon station.
8 Jun 1805 Barbadoes and Netley escaped the French fleet, but their convoy of 15 vessels from the West Indies were taken.
4 Oct 1805 captured the French privateer San Benite.
