Notes:
Dover 18 Dec 1815 Has sent in a smuggling lugger with spirits and tobacco.
Jan-Feb 1817 Lieut Joseph Williams, formerly CO of the Mistletoe appointed as Commander of the RC Nimble, on the Sheerness Station.
12 Mar 1817 seized a smuggling boat, name unknown, and spirits.
22 Jan 1818 prize money resulting from the seizure of the smuggling boat, name unknown, and spirits, taken on 12 Mar 1817, is now due to be paid.
1830 Revenue cruiser - England
18 Jul 1840 Lieutenant George William Tombs, appointed to command the Nimble revenue cutter, vice Ramsey, time of service up.
13 Nov 1841 Lieutenant C. G. Clarke, Chief Officer, appointed to the Nimble, revenue-cruiser.
1 Aug 1842 based at Exmouth, Lt. Chas. G. Clarke, apptd. 18 Oct 1841.
20 Dec 1848 Revenue Vessel.
NB I have no knowledge regarding when vessels were built or broken up for the Revenue Service, so these notes may well cover one or more vessels.
