20 Mar 1800, Portsmouth, arrived the Osprey, 18, Captain Watts, from the Downs.
2 Jun 1800, Portsmouth, arrived with the Circe, Plover, and Eugenie, with fifteen flat-bottomed boats from the Downs.
18 Jun 1800, Portsmouth, sailed with the Terpsichore, and Eugenie, on a cruise.
20 Jul 1800, Portsmouth, arrived with the Jalouse, with a convoy from the Downs.
27 Aug 1800, Portsmouth, the Osprey, with the ships bound to the Cape of Good Hope and the South Seas, went down to St. Helens.
6 Sep 1800, Portsmouth, sailed with several vessels under his convoy, for Africa, and the Cape of Good Hope.
9 Oct 1803 ship's boats chase and capture the French privateer-schooner Resource.
26-27 October 1803 ship's boats captured the French privateer Mima off Trinidad.
23 Mar 1804 engagement with the larger French frigate-built privateer Egyptienne, which was captured 2 says later by the sloop Hippomenes.
17 May 1805 captured the French privateer Teazer on the Leeward Island station.
27 Jun 1805 chased by French frigates, but by a rouse de guerre made the French think that a British fleet lurked ahead, and burnt the 15 valuable merchant vessels captured on 8 Jun.
