14 Dec 1795 captured a French privateer, name unknown, off Mariegalante.

27 Apr 1796 Sainte-Lucie. A squadron, including the Pelican, Captain John Clarke Searle, arrived with troops, to reduce the Island, which was achieved by 26 May.

26 May 1796 captured a French privateer, name unknown, at St. Lucia.

8 Jun 1796 Dutch frigate Jason captured by her crew mutinying and carrying her into Greenock where the Pelican is reported to have taken possession of her.

Mid to late Jun 1796 Grenada, W.I., the Mermaid, Captain Robert Waller Otway, Hebe, Pelican, Beaver, arrived with troops, to reduce the Island.

23 Sep 1796 meeting, off the island of Désirade, between the brig-sloop Pelican, Captain John Clarke Searle, and the French frigate Médée.
