1916-17 converted to salvage vessel as an RFA, described by Janes FS of 1919 as being built 1884, 970 tons, and rebuilt, I.H.P. 1100 = 11 kts.
Re-engined with starboard machinery of old T.B. 8 submersible electric, steam centrifugal and compressed air pumps throwing 3000 tons per hour. 2 - 17 ton derricks.
