15 Aug 1840 Portsmouth The Reindeer packet is ordered to be paid off.

18 Aug 1840 paid off at Chatham.

18 May 1841, Chatham, sailed for Gibraltar, to be stationed there as guard ship.

22 May 1841, Portsmouth, arrived from Chatham with supernumeraries for the ships at Spithead and men from the Volage for the Excellent ; and for the Cornwallis, at Plymouth. Her destination is to lie as a guard-ship at Gibraltar.

26 May 1841, sailed for Gibraltar.

16 Jun 1841, had arrived at Gibraltar.
