The Hampshire Telegraph of 15 Jun 1818 reports the launch of the Sprightly at Pembroke.
2 Jan 1821 Got on shore during a strong gale on the rocks at Blacknor Point. The crew and much of the stores were saved. The Greyhound and Scourge arrived from Portland Roads to give assistance, but returned when it was realised that there was little hope of saving her.
