Ascension 31 May 1823 Arrived to discover yellow fever rampant amongst the garrison, said to have been brought to this place by the sloop Bann, recently arrived from the coast of Africa.
Portsmouth 7 Jul 1823 Arrived from Madras. The Termagant, launched at Cochin 15 Nov 1822, is built of teak and is an excellent sea-boat, pierced for 20 guns.
1824 Renamed Herald, survey ship.
1830 Portsmouth (10 gun sloop).
1846 West Indies and North America Station.
1860 Surveying Vessel, Feejee Islands, re-rated as an 8.
