Phoebe, Thames and Blanche detailed to pursue French squadron reported to be destroying British and Russian fishing and merchant vessels in the Arctic.
Deal 31 Dec 1806 Sailed to the French coast.
25 Jul 1810 off the coast of Naples, landed the ships' boats to bring off and destroy the vessels of a convoy the squadron discovered running on the beach at Amanthea
21 Jul 1811 the frigate Thames and sloop Cephalus, off Porto del Infreschi, along with the ships' boats, cut out a number of gun boats and merchant-vessels and sent the marines ashore to destroy military installations.
19 Oct 1811 the frigates Impérieuse and Thames, anchored close to the shore near Palinuro on the coast of Calabria, with their boats, captured 10 armed polacres laden with oil.
21 Oct-3 Nov 1811 the frigates Impérieuse and Thames, having acquired troops from Sicily to destroy military facilities ashore captured six gun-boats, 22 feluccas laden with oil, cotton, &c., and 20 large spars brought off from the beach.
14 May 1812 Thames, accompanied by the Pilot, attacked a strong battery and tower covering the port of Sapri, which was destroyed, and captured 28 boats laden with oil.
26 Feb 1813 the Thames, and Furieuse, with troops, captured the island of Ponza, on the coast of Naples.
