French Torpedo Boat Sunk
Cherbourg, Sept, 1. The torpedo boat Bouet-Villaumez, stationed at Cherbourg, struck on a rock yesterday evening near the rocks of Rouvres, and sank. The crew were saved. It is not known yet whether she can be refloated. The port authorities sent the Buffle to the spot to render assistance. The torpedo-boat, No 108, which accompanies the Bouet-Villaumex, has arrived at the island of Brehat with the crew of the wreck torpedo boat on board. Reuter.
