13 Apr 1796 capture of the French frigate Unité by the Révolutionnaire while cruising off Ushant, and forming a part of a squadron composed of the frigates Indefatigable, Argo, Amazon, and Concorde.
17 Sep 1797 captured the French privateer Brunette.
7 Oct 1797 Unite, Phaeton, and Stag captured the French privateer Découverte in the Channel.
24 Sep 1797 Unlté and Phaeton captured the French privateer Indian off the Roches Bonnes.

15 Feb 1799, Hull, early in November the Nautilus sailed from Elsineur, in company with Unite and a large convoy : the fleet was obliged to put into Mendal, in Norway, where the Hound brig was then lying. Captain Shield ordered the Hound to England, and directed Captain Gunter to remain on that coast, for the purpose of collecting any vessels that might be separated from the homeward bound Baltic fleets.
3 Mar 1799, Portsmouth, sailed with the Gaiete and a convoy for the West Indies.
6 Mar 1799, Plymouth, passed by with a convoy for the West Indies and the Gaietie.
26 Oct 1799 Hermione, 34, re-captured by being cut out of Puerto-Caballo, South America, by the boats of the Surprise frigate.
2 Feb 1800 captured the French privateer Perseverance on the Leeward Island station.
Circa 21 Jun - 27 Jul 1799, a Spanish brig, letter of marque, of 6 guns aud 30 men, from Cadiz to Vera Cruz, laden with wine and dry goods, taken by the Unite.
