ADVENTURE (Sept., 1904). By Elswick.

  • Displacement, 2670 tons.
  • Dimensions: 374 x 38.25 x 13.5 feet (maximum draught).
  • Complement, 301.
  • Guns: 2 - 6 inch, 6 - 4 inch, 1 - 3 inch AA., 1 - 6 pdr., 2 - 2 pdr. AA.
  • Torpedo tubes (14 inch): 2 above water.
  • Armour: 2" Deck.
  • Machinery: 2 sets 6 cylinder. 2 screws. Boilers: 4/5ths Yarrow curved, 1/5th cylindrical. About H.P. 16,000 = 25.5 kts.
  • Coal: normal 150 tons : maximum 455 tons.

FORESIGHT (Oct., 1904). By Fairfield.

HIGHFLYER (June, 1898). Large re-fit, 1919. 5600 tons.

  • Complement, 450.
  • Dimensions: 350 (p.p.) x 54 x 22 feet (max. draught).
  • Guns: 11 - 6 inch wire (Mk VII, VIII), 6 - 12 pdr., 4 - 3 pdr., 4 Maxims, 1 landing.
  • Torpedo tubes (18 inch) : 2 submerged.
  • Armour: 3" Armour deck, Protection to vitals, 5" Engine hatches, 6" Conning tower.
  • Machinery: 2 sets 4 cylinder triple expansion. 2 screws. Boilers: Belleville. Designed H.P. 10,000 = 19.5 kts.
  • Coal: normal, 500 tons; maximum, 1120 tons.
