Naval Medical Supplemental Fund Society

Memorandum (late) No. 47.
Admiralty, 4th December, 1863.

My Lords Commissioners of the Admiral having been informed by the Managers appointed the Winding-up Act of the Naval Medical Supplemental Fund Society, 1861, that, provided all arrears of contributions, together with such sums as may become due to the 31st instant, we paid up without delay, they will be enabled to carry out fully the purposes of the said Act, are pleased, in order to facilitate the winding-up of the Society, to desire that all arrears, together with the abatements for the current quarter, may be immediately paid by Medical Officers, either by abatements from Officers' Full Pay, or by remittances to the Treasurers, Messrs. Hallett, Ommaney, and Co.

Should any delay occur to complying with this order, it will be necessary to enforce the rule respecting suspension of pay laid down in accordance with Article 9 of the Order in Council of 13th August, 1817.
