Lodging Money



Admiralty, 26th May 1860.

My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty are pleased to direct that in future the allowances for Lodging to Officers of the Royal Navy, when compelled to reside onshore, shall be as fellows:-

     s       d     
To Officers in command of Rated Ships or Sloops 4 6 per Day
To Ward Room Officers 3 6 per Day
To Gun Room and Warrant Officers . 2 6 per Day
